Non-custodial Design
PananaSwap is a non-custodial decentralized trading platform.
Users always retain full control of their assets. At no point does PananaSwap take custody of user funds.
What Non-custodial Means
Non-custodial means:
Users trade directly from their own wallets
Funds remain under user control at all times
No deposits are held by PananaSwap
No withdrawal requests are required
All swaps are executed via smart contracts on-chain.
Wallet-Controlled Execution
When using PananaSwap:
Transactions are initiated by the user’s wallet
Each swap requires explicit wallet approval
Users sign transactions locally
PananaSwap cannot initiate, modify, or execute transactions on behalf of users.
No Account Balances
PananaSwap does not maintain:
User balances
Custodial accounts
Internal ledgers
There is no concept of “funds held on PananaSwap”.
Smart Contract Interaction
Swaps are executed by interacting with deployed smart contracts.
Contracts execute deterministically
Contract logic is publicly verifiable
Execution outcomes are enforced on-chain
PananaSwap does not operate off-chain settlement systems.
Approval Scope
Token approvals:
Are granted directly to smart contracts
Can be revoked at any time by the user
Are visible on-chain
Users are encouraged to review and manage approvals periodically.
No Emergency Control
PananaSwap does not have the ability to:
Freeze user funds
Reverse transactions
Pause individual wallets
All control remains with the user and the blockchain network.
Transparency by Design
Non-custodial architecture ensures:
Full transaction transparency
Verifiable execution paths
No hidden fund flows
All actions can be independently audited via public block explorers.
User Responsibility
As a non-custodial protocol:
Users are responsible for securing their wallets
Lost private keys cannot be recovered
Transactions are irreversible once confirmed
PananaSwap does not provide wallet recovery services.
Security Philosophy
PananaSwap prioritizes:
Minimizing trust assumptions
Reducing attack surfaces
Leveraging blockchain immutability
Security is enforced through architecture, not promises.
