Swap Overview
PananaSwap provides a streamlined interface for executing on-chain token swaps across supported networks.
All swaps are executed in a non-custodial manner directly from the user’s wallet, using smart contracts to route trades efficiently while applying the appropriate fee logic based on the user’s VIP status.
How Swaps Work on PananaSwap
When a user initiates a swap on PananaSwap:
The wallet connects directly to the interface
Swap parameters (token pair, amount, slippage) are defined
The protocol determines the appropriate routing logic
The transaction is executed on-chain
Output tokens are delivered directly to the wallet
At no point does PananaSwap take custody of user funds.
Supported Swap Types
PananaSwap supports standard token-to-token swaps, including:
ERC-20 token swaps
Native token ↔ ERC-20 swaps (where applicable)
Cross-pool routing within supported chains
All swaps rely on existing on-chain liquidity and are subject to market conditions at execution time.
Fee Application During Swaps
Trading fees are applied at execution, based on the wallet’s current VIP level.
Key characteristics:
Fees are deterministic and rule-based
VIP fee reductions apply automatically
No manual selection of fee tiers is required
Fees are not applied retroactively
This ensures consistent fee treatment across all swaps.
Slippage and Execution
Slippage represents the acceptable price movement between transaction submission and execution.
On PananaSwap:
Users define their slippage tolerance
Transactions revert automatically if slippage exceeds tolerance
Actual execution depends on liquidity and market conditions
Proper slippage settings help protect users from unfavorable price movement.
Transaction Finality
Once a swap transaction is confirmed on-chain:
Results are final and irreversible
Output amounts reflect actual execution
Fees applied are permanently recorded
Users are encouraged to review transaction details carefully before confirming.
Important Considerations
Swap outcomes depend on on-chain liquidity
Gas fees are determined by the network
Failed or reverted transactions may still incur gas costs
PananaSwap does not guarantee execution prices
Understanding these factors is essential for informed trading decisions.
